BHUTAN ABSTRACTIONS - Ricardo Mazal
Born in Mexico City in 1950, Ricardo Mazal lives and works in both Santa Fe, New Mexico and New York City. He exhibits internationally with galleries in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Hong Kong and Singapore. In the last decade, Mazal has had eleven individual museum exhibitions in Mexico and the United States.

INTRODUCTION

Drawing on his previous explorations into themes of life, death, transformation and regeneration, Mazal has composed a new series of abstract paintings focusing on the colorful, billowing prayer flags of the Himalayan kingdom.
